Had another go earlier tried everything suggested and still couldn’t get it off, had to admit defeat which is annoying me more than anything.
And not to help matters lost a long torque bit in the mounting bracket that holds the alternator on tried to get it but no luck, took off the cover to the belts and tried to get it and managed to touch my fingers but still not there think it’s in a void between the block and the bracket.
It’s in the garage on Tuesday so will keep you posted.
