With Volvo's of that year you could have keyless drive and keyless entry (which included drive).

If you have keyless drive - it will say "KEYLESS" on the flap on the key hole. Not all models had these options, some models it was both or none.

With keyless drive you can start the car as long the key is in the car (but not necessarily in the slot).

If you have keyless entry you will have little black rubber buttons on the door handle...
