Does this work if the car is unlocked via the App?
Would it be possible for me to drive somewhere and park up with the spare key left in the car and my key in my pocket, and my son could then arrive at the car and call me to unlock the car so that he can then use the spare key to drive home?
I'm guessing that there would be limitations based on whether the car (or my phone) has a signal to carry out the operation, and of course, the fact that VOC may be down.
