My issue isn't with the updates it's the update process. BMW/AUDI/Land Rover have a data plan and the car will auto update as new maps are released, no need to do anything.
With Volvo you'll need a USB and several hours faffing about downloading then uploading to the car or a PSIM is monumental amounts of data paid for by the consumer.
Doesn't feel very premium to me.

I agree that on a car upward of £50k, Volvo should use the onboard Sensus Connect SIM to push new maps down, given that the option is there.
What I don't understand is why each update is so big. Surely here must be a way to do incremental updates of the changes only. At nearly 3GB for the NW region alone, that must be a complete download every time surely?
