Anyone else got recent warranty experiences to share?

Watch this space! Mine goes in tomorrow as the engine warning light has been on for a couple of weeks and in view of their "this isn't a recall cos we haven't figured out a fix yet but we thought you ought to know your car might be incinerated" letter it seems prudent to get it checked and any fault rectified.

I think it may be the O2 sensor but how that is repaired/replaced/rectified and whether the Volvo extended warranty provider try to wriggle out of it through one of their "out" clauses remains to be seen. One thing for sure, if it is that it won't be wear and tear and if I'm not 100% happy they can wriggle out of it I'll be complaining and going to the Financial Ombudsman.
