Belts and door warning symbol triangle with exclamation

Warning light on.
I checked all my doors, sat in the car, and buckled the driver’s side belt. There was nothing in my other seats and the warning light with the triangle and exclamation point would not go away.
So I looked around the outside of the car and noticed my hood (bonnet) was not completely latched in the front left hand corner facing the car. It was barely noticeable. I pushed it down into place and the light went off.
