It is not just the grade i.e. 10/40 but the specification of the oil that matters.The bulk stuff your garage uses[as long as it's a known brand]should be fine.For example the local Ford dealership has bulk deliveries as well as some delivered in 250L drums,the bulk stuff is Fuchs which is a well respected brand.
