This is a tailgate/boot/hatch lock, not a door lock. I should have mentioned that, sorry!
My issue was the wiring in the rear headlining in the end, and not the lock at fault at all!
I know though that the door locks ARE addressable via VIDA/DICE so if you have your car scanned with this diagnostic software it will give you more detail.
I’d start with a scan but it’s a nightmare for all cars when a door won’t open from outside or in... your options are quite limited!
Do you still have power to the door? Does the electric window work on that side? If it does, I’d roll the window down and then use the tube on WD40 to blast the inside lock mech if possible?!
