The 'new' one struggles to reach 37mpg on similar routes, same driving style etc- this is obviously disappointing! I've tried the basics, increasing tyre pressure for example, without result. The supplying (Volvo main) dealer says there is nothing that can be adjusted. I wonder if anyone has a similar experience or any ideas? I'd hoped a newer car with a 6th gear would be at least as economical as 'Old Faithful'!
Many thanks

Mine shows 43 to 46 mpg on the display and when I calculate it brim to brim I get 35 to 38 mpg. 148k, Euro 3 D5 XC70 averaging 38 to 44 mph. I do c. 400 miles/week.
