It depends what "not 7 Professional" means.
If it's not 7 Professional but it is 7 Enterprise or 7 Ultimate, a simple install will be ok.
If it's Home or Home Premium, you'll need to purchase a 7 Professional product key to upgrade. Professional product keys are freely available for around £3-£5.
