Default Passenger (Manual) Seat Adjustment

I've just discovered something about my car that I don't know if it's a defect or just the specification for my car model. The car is a November 2021 XC40 R-Design.
The issue relates to the levers/paddles for the manual adjustment of the front passenger seat. I'm trying to raise the seat. The lever at the side works OK to raise/lower the rear of the seat. According to the Driver's Handbook there should be two paddles under the front of the seat, one (on the right) to adjust fore/aft movement and the other (on the left) to adjust the height of the front of the seat. This latter paddle is used in conjunction with the side lever to adjust the seat height and tilt.
On my car there is NO left-side paddle beneath the front of the seat for adjusting the height. Examining underneath the seat there is nothing - no lever or lever mechanism. The only seat height adjustment available is the side lever for raising/lowering the rear of the seat and this seems wrong to me because the seat tilts forward as it is raised.
Does anyone know if this is correct for my car model?

Stan.
