That spectrum of light is proven to disrupt your sleep and tells your body to release a chemical to put you in 'daytime mode'... it's also hard for the human eye to adjust to that colour... so when your driving at night with one set of yellow headlights coming towards you, followed by blue lights, then yellow again, its VERY hard (at least for me) to adjust to. Anyone else noticed this?
Yes... also the higher the colour temperature, the greater the degradation in mist and fog. Blue lights on a police car are much harder to see in fog than orange or red lights on a motorway womble 4x4.
