Found in diagnosis, ERAD needs replacing.. Car is just 4 years old , 61K mileage. cost £3200 plus
.. Found that this seems to be common problem.. Why is Volvo not addressing this issue,, Such an expensive part, how can they fail so early... Also there seems to be some ambiguity in warranty...in one of the U.S forum, they say it is covered as part of Hybrid system.. but Volvo U.K say is it not covered.. Secondly... can we know how many cars had this issue ERAD failure in past 4 years as freedom of information..Volvo agreed to absorb 75% of the cost,, but thats still not fair when such an expensive part fail when the car comes just out of manufacturer's warranty...also while Hybrid system is the USP of this car.. thanks
