For me I love my older Volvos. my 240 and 940.
I also have a 2006 Lexus IS 220 diesel that's done 175,000 miles and the engine doesn't have a good reputation for HG failure and as with any diesel DPF and EGR problems.
It still drives perfect and very well made and comfy, but ac needs work as leaked out. Getting it serviced tomorrow and AC leak investigated. May try a Lexus Hybrid or buy an LS430 at some point.
