Speak to your local plumber. They are used for testing for leaks on gas pipework. I've just had an LPG Jotul stove installed at home and the pipes were pressurised with a digital manometer attached so any drop in pressure could be detected. You can buy a traditional manometer very cheaply from a plumbers merchant. This one is just £16:
