I ended up buying a used OEM part from ebay instead of getting a new non-OEM part as heard these aren’t great.
This was about a year ago and so far so good.

If you have removed the fan, I would always recommend replacing the resistor as they are the most common failure point and are very cheap for a non OEM part.
