To be honest I don't know not having got my paws on a V70. What I can say is when you give it some wellie it takes off like a missile, especially if you have the auto box in sport mode. My bus is a 220bhp, 16 plate xc70. Also I tend to switch the stop/start function off as I personally don't like it. Hope you enjoy your test drive. Happy motoring
