I agree, very easy job IF AND ONLY IF your axle is not totally fused/rusted into the spindle. In my case no amount of pounding/pressing was gonna separate the two. The mechanic broke the spindle finally getting the two pieces apart. Word to the wise, if you can't get them separated with pounding in the drive, just go buy a wreckyard spindle and axle and give up on installing the reluctor ring altogether.
