Hi,
I know nothing about cars, stopped doing my own work when I scrapped my Triumph Dolomite.
However, looking at my Routine Service checklist for an S40 petrol 2007-11MY, it states "1.6 Renew timing and auxilliary drive belts & timing belt tensioner - check date/mileage decal" at an an interval of 10 years or 100,000 miles. That seems an awefully long time/mileage to me, I hope someone will confirm this for you.
