I would guess there are very few engines around nowadays unfortunately. As I run two I have a spare engine at my store along the south coast, but you'd need a crane to lift it - they weigh a ton!
If your father would prefer a spare car (!) I have one of those there too: probably terminal rust on the N/S rear wing. That car is complete less seats as I got it ready for welding up but too many other projects to even attempt. It has just 60k or so miles on the clock and is a two-owner car, mine for the last 15+ years. Not running now as pinched its carbs for my other car.
