Also many of the ignition parts on the 140 series if Bosch are shared with Ford UK cars of that era and there are loads of those still on the road so things like CB points, condensors, rotor arms, dizzy caps etc are still widely available.

Also if memory serves correctly (it's a long time since i had a 145 and a 144) many brake parts are also shared with a lot of UK cars of a similar era, again there is support for these in the right places so brake pads shouldn't be too much of a problem, especially if you have Girling/Lucas/Lucas-Girling/TRW calipers.

If you get really stuck for something and can only find it on ebay.co.uk and the seller won't ship to the USA, give me a shout and we'll sort something out. You'll still have to pay shipping to you but at least you'll get the parts you need.

All the help I can get is great as this is the first 140 series I've had.
