Also if memory serves correctly (it's a long time since i had a 145 and a 144) many brake parts are also shared with a lot of UK cars of a similar era, again there is support for these in the right places so brake pads shouldn't be too much of a problem, especially if you have Girling/Lucas/Lucas-Girling/TRW calipers.

If you get really stuck for something and can only find it on ebay.co.uk and the seller won't ship to the USA, give me a shout and we'll sort something out. You'll still have to pay shipping to you but at least you'll get the parts you need.
All the help I can get is great as this is the first 140 series I've had.
