Ha ha - you and I haven’t had this debate for a year or so....
You can put AW1 in earlier cars and you can put 3309 in later cars. What could possibly go wrong? Tell us...
Whilst Volvo did change from filling the TF80 boxes at the factory from 3309 to AW-1 around 2011, the XC90 was not changed until a few years later. But as above, it really doesn’t matter.
If anyone is wanting to know what fluid to get - it is clearly documented in your owners manual.
