Yeah sorry to drag it back up but there was no clear resolution.

AC on then engine surge noticeable when driving slowly - actually effects speed and auto gear selection!

Turn AC off and problem gone.

How can ac clutch engagement effect throttle/rpm I don't understand.
It takes some current and as only a 1.8 I would almost expect the opposite.

Is the ecu trying to over compensate for this?
