When I take my dog out in the car[I have an Omega saloon as well as the V70]she always rides on the rear seat-even in the V70-as said above she has a harness which fastens round her and goes up between her front legs this harness has a loop on it through which one of the seat belts passes before being fastened in the normal way.Having leather seats means dog hairs are not the problem they can be with fabric seats,an old blanket suffices to shield her from hot seats in summer.
