I have the wiring diagram as per your web site but that covers from 1981 and later there is no references to models before 1981.
The light switch is as 240 on my 1980 343 .
The feed to the light switch comes from the fusebox (yellow wire ) via the centre white multiplug on the rear of the fusebox under the dash ... The centre Lucar connector in the row of five flat ones ...

the 1979 should be the same as mine ( 79 being when they introduced the "Volvo" type black dashboard .)
