It’s recently had very flat acceleration after not driving it much over last few weeks. When I go up a hill it takes an age and I have to sometimes get it up in 2nd or even 1st if sharp incline. It goes ok once it gets going on non inclines inc Motorways.

To add context it recently had MOT and service. Just prior to MOT and service I had Engine Management light come on when I started the car (same time as when acceleration went flat) and soot filter Light came on.

During service Volvo specialist managed to do enough regen on DPF to take soot warning light off although he said ECU kept aborting regen so couldn’t do a proper one? He wasn’t able to explain why?? Number of issues I was advised of at service include:

Swirl unit faulty (adrift)
DPF and EGR both have codes saying blocked And EGR sticking.
Glow plugs faulty.

Since service I had EGR Nicely cleaned with adjoining pipes.

Engine Light still on and acceleration still poor. Anyone got any ideas? DPF or something else?
multiple dpf codes can sometimes create a tcm code which gives very limited acceleration. some generic code readers cannot remove tcm codes
