This seems strange to me but I had the same thing. Even with about £3.5k of options the 2 year price was about £2pcm less than the 3 year, I’ve always found spreading options over three years works better. I guess maybe they’ll get a higher relative price for a 2 year old with a year of factory warranty left vs the extra year of revenue. Or maybe it’s manufacturers incentives to get quality stock back into the used network.
I too went for 3 to reduce the hassle as my last 2 year lease was up too fast! Also whilst they put it in writing that they would offer me an extension at the end of 2 years, there was no guarantee that the monthly rental wouldn’t go up, and it was likely it would be based on 6+35 / 36 x 12, not just another 12x35!
