Default 1993 245 Torslanda for sale

I'm looking to sell my 1993 Torslanda estate in white. It's a lovely example, 139k miles, B200F engine and manual M47 gearbox, it was a courtesy car for a Volvo specialist up north for 20yrs or so before I owned it, and became the proprietor's private car after he retired. I purchased it from him last year.

It was very well maintained by them, and has been maintained with no expense spared since I've had it. I had my local Volvo main dealer replace (with genuine Volvo parts of course) the clutch, radius arm bushes, engine mounts and transmission mounts around six months ago, shortly before that I had a slightly worn driveshaft UJ replaced and it has just had an alternator rebuild as of last week. I have changed the oil and filter every 3000 miles since I have owned it, along with fresh plugs. It also has a new distributor and HT leads as of August of this year. Four brand new tyres fitted in February, with obviously a great deal of life left in them.

Brand new MOT last week with no advisories.

Drives without fault and has been an absolute joy to own. I'm only selling as I've been restoring a 740 saloon which is now back on the road and I can't afford to run two classic Volvos.

It has a factory fitted dog guard, but I can find no evidence of a dog having been in it! Factory fitted towbar also.

To be super picky, there are a few age related marks to the bodywork and a small area of surface rust on the back of the NS front wheelarch, which would be very easily sorted, but I haven't got around to it since the weather started to get colder. There is a touch of rust on the OS sill pinch weld, but not something that was even worthy of mention on the MOT last week. The rear arches have been treated with rustproofing by the previous owner and are in good order, although could be tidied up a little to make the rustproofing invisible. The only other negative points I can think of is that the rear wiper is inoperative (and has been for the entirety of my ownership) and the front door pockets are cracked at the front corner on both sides. They still function perfectly well however, and reproduction units are available from the US if you wish to replace them.

Overall a superb example of an increasingly rare car.

I'm looking for £3250 ovno, based in Sherborne in Dorset. Any viewing and test drives very welcome.
