I could of course be entirely wrong but I gather the market tends to favour a D5 or 2.4D V70's of this era and type of vehicle.

The drivetrain, spec and engine is an unusual combination though that may well appeal to someone. I don't think I've ever seen a V70 with a centre console full of buttons (rather than blanks)! On the flip side the added complexity of 4C shocks and Haldex 4WD system can be costly, though not as bad as it once was.

I think people who want the 'R' find the premium acceptable, as it's more than just the suspension on offer; ie. 300bhp, lowered suspension, different styling, wheels, suspect different antiroll bars etc.
