Was going through some old paperwork at home this evening and I found the rental documents for the very first XC60 I ever drove, which was a Thrifty rental car from Croydon in Feb 2012. We rented it for 4 days and drove down to Cornwall.

The XC60 was a 2011 diesel model.
I notice that the UK registration AF61WTN is still active.

We returned the car back to Thrifty with quite a large stone chip on the windscreen but luckily it was not picked up, so we dodged a bullet as regards penalty charges.

In retrospect the XC60 was a bit on the large side for some of the narrow lanes we drove around in Cornwall - it was lucky that being Feb it was not too busy on the roads.
