had ours 6years no real problems as such. just random bumping when slowing to a stop. it can be months between bumps iv never been able to narrow down why it dose it. its so random . i have done frequent oil changes to try and keep it from getting any worse. i would not let it put you off a car . just make sure you have a good test drive to find any potential faults . try to factor in a warranty if you have any reservations.
