On a similar theme....I once went to look at a 2 year old car with my Father which he'd seen advertised at a local dealer....it was in one of those Coffee-laden showrooms with twinkly lighting, tiled floors and plants everywhere.
He decided he liked the car and exclaimed to the shiny-suited Sales Operative "you won't sell it to anyone else will you because I'd like to buy it?"
Needless to say negotiating anything off the sticker price was useless from that point
