Hi folks

I’ve tried to understand the tuning terminology (Chip-tune, remap etc) but am at a slight loss - apologies if this has been asked before.

I understand my 2013 D3, at 136bhp, is actually a de-tuned D4. What is the simplest (cheapest)?) way to remove this de-tune and put it at 163bhp? Or is it not as simple as that?

Whatever that option is, is it at risk of being overwritten when the car goes for service and the usual software updates the dealer may do?
