So the car is still with Volvo. Having a new engine fitted! On warranty and at no expense to me.
Volvo make no decisions on the ground. They send codes etc off to Volvo Technical who dictate what happens next.
Im not overly sure what the fault is. I do know its engine related (bores/cylinders) obviously and they were measuring it etc.
Hope this helps anybody that may have similar issues in the future.
