We just use a pay as you go sim with £10 on it and set our phones to redirect to that number if we are on a long journey. other than that, we put our main sim into the slot. It's not the best solution, but what is. having said that, our '05 executive allows us to play MiniDiscs, so I'm not sure that Volvo knew exactly what they were doing when it came to this part of the design.
Although, even with all this great technology, you still have to do a few things yourself. So we load up all our important contacts onto the 2nd sim and keep it up to date when needed.
