This is The Breadbox. 1989 740 GL (2.3, the only way they come in the US.) Paid $3600 in 2001 with 168,000 miles on the clock. Currently at 293,000. With my 70 mile daily commute, I should break 300,000 by the end of summer. Originally owned by a real estate agent in Jacksonville, Florida. Then somehow made it to Virginia; then with two owners in Pennsylvania. Converted from AW-41 to M47 in 2007. ipd springs and sways added in 2009. Glass sunroof installed in 2010.

Interior shot. BB now has a much nicer interior than she used to. I got seats, carpets and all the plastic trim around the headliner for $150 from an '87 760 GLE that had been scrapped because the engine seized.
