ah ok. well i gave the above procedure a go, but it didnt work. Even when trying your edited version about waiting between each press and wait for a flash from the LED between presses.
I ordered some new batteries last night, so will try the remote again when they get delivered - the remote doesnt even work the door locks, so this surely could be part or all of the problem.
Appreciate your responses clan. I'll have a look for that other procedure.
though you confused me about the press 5 times part.
Ive only got one remote. Do i press the button on the box 4 times. Then press the button 3 then 4 then 5 times?
The LEd on teh box didnt light anyway, so something isnt right.
