Believe brake pedal feel can be adjusted in menu's,
But when you brake in a D5 it uses the brakes,
when you brake in a T8 it uses the electric motor in the rear axle unless you absolutly stonk on the middle pedal then it will use the brakes aswell,
The dash gauge is usually a good indicator, think upto the amber lines it uses the electric motor
