' Morning gentlemen and, yet again. I'm grateful for the additional info :
1. Apersson850 ......Yes, got the picture as I am member ... strangely enough I was going to ask you the positioning of the Volvo Strip ... now I have exactly the answer ... looks good and I'm pleased that it works.
2.Peter86 ... I do tend to agree with you as I said before ... but I've ordered strip from local Volvo dealer so I'll try first ...if not successful I'll add "your" strip as well.
You might well be interested by ....
........Local dealer .. got strip in by 3.00 p.m. yesterday .. they tried it on similar vehicles in for service at their premises ... spoke at 4.00 p.m. and updated me .. posting to me last night free of charge.
Emailed 2 other Volvo dealers yesterday a.m. for assistance and part ... one said part was totally unsuitable for my model and I would need special build seal, even sending diagrams of my model without strip ... another quoted almost £60.00 and I found that he quoted for wrong part ... 2 others haven't even replied within 24 hours.
However, your help greatly is appreciated and I'll keep you updated.
