Hi.
Barry`s right. NGK tend to start playing up after a few thousand miles.
OE plugs - made in Germany - so probably Bosch.
When you look at the tech. specs. of all makes they will say pretty much the same thing so you`re none the wiser.
What does differ widely is the price for Volvo plugs so it pays to shop around.
You can pay over £50 for a set of 5 , and pay less than £50 for a set of 6.
Volvo are crafty - they use generic parts across a range of vehicles yet each vehicle will have its own part number. Other manufacturers probably do the same.
My last set of plugs were 8692072 ( set of 6 for XC90-T6 ) on special from a Volvo dealer for under £30. Yet they are the same plug as 30637308 ( set of 5 for 850-T5 , 2.3-T5) at over £50.
