Hey Bob thanks for that, ditto I've had the same screech on my 940 for 5 years and thought it was the Dual Mass FW but it never got any worse so I promised to sort it when I change the clutch and bless me it seems to be just another Volvo quirk.
Funny old world .. a Red Block don't change that much although the car model designation might!! Keep with the screech that's the way forward!!

P.S. Didn't realise that a 940 had a dual mass flywheel... ???
