Hi Dutcho. Personally, I have never changed a Cambelt, having only ever replaced a serpentine belt and tensioner.

However, looking at the Video on You tube, I wonder if you might be able to see the timing marks on the crankshaft from above, without removing the pulley? I have attached a couple of screen grabs to show what I mean.

I guess the Overhead cam timing marks are fairly easy to see once the plastic cam cover has been removed.
