I think I worked out the position by observing the actuator at idle and then setting the actuator arm in the opposite position.
Based on this paragraph from the article posted above.
"The throttles are closed during idling and then open steplessly up to an engine speed of approx.
3000 rpm. At an engine speed above 3000 rpm the throttles are open."

I may have it wrong, but I have never had an alert and although the engine rarely goes above 3000 rpm I do tow a caravan which often requires a fare bit of throttle.
