Car back from dealership all fixed. needed new EGR position sensor which had thrown up all manner if strange DTC codes. Sorted by real standup dealership at no cost. Clelands of Galashiels. nice one guys.
Spoke to Service customer manager who explained that although they could easily completely change the transmission fluid, he did not feel comfortable charging £200 plus in case it caused an issue. This is at least honest but he agreed that the use of the Toyota fluid would be a good alternative and run for 100miles and then refresh thereafter.
Dealership highly recommend BG Automotive additives EGR cleaner, oil cleaner and oil additive.
