I'd assume the wiring instructions are the same for the classic V70 and our early XC's.

My understanding is that the Volvo wiring kit has a multiplug that goes in between the bulb failure warning module and it's normal connection plug for the loom. This additional multiplug feeds the towbar wiring.

The towbar wiring I got with the bar is the 13pin stuff, which I really don't need, so may end up getting the basic 12N setup and scotchlocking into the loom if I can't find the right bits.
