Not quite, the "low battery" warning will disappear when battery is recharged over 50-65% state of charge - either by driving, or by proper charging (minus pole to car body). No need to disconnect the BMS sensor.

However if BMS sensor was disconnected, car should be locked for at least 6 hours to let the BMS sensor recalibrate again.
