London, Ontario?
I'm a bit lighter than you but similar height, I damaged my back about 40 years ago so I'm very fussy about seats. Having decided that I could get in and out of an XC60 I then spent hours at the dealership trying all the different seat types before settling on what I bought. You're right though, a short test drive is not much use. Many years ago I had a test drive in a Vauxhall Omega, after a couple of miles I parked it and walked back to the dealer and gave him the keys. Similar with a Subaru although the salesman was with me that time so he drove it back, I walked.
