I have smartphone integration and use WhatsApp most of the time over texting, so this is a major benefit.

Dealer told me that the only way to type a message is using android auto, other than that you would have to use voice control.
For that reason and the fact i have Amazon Music i decided to pay the £300.
Also i like google's maps to any other system I've seen on cars.
I like the satellite feature that displays actual buildings etc especially in areas that i have never been before.
I've not got the car yet so cant give you any more information. However i have heard that Volvos will soon be moving to Android AU which will make Android Auto obsolete, which makes me think.......... is that then a waste of
£300.
