I’d have suggested back of starter motor - alternator is high up and probably out of reach. You may need to take the undertray off if fitted.
Drivers door lock isn’t powered and will work without a battery connected. Have you tried lubricating it?
If the car is a factory 7 seater there will also be a lock in the tailgate next to the number plate lights.
