Unfortunate. Serpentine belt failure is 8/10 time cam belt failure on the D5 engines. Still surprised this happened at such low miles. Do I remember a serpentine tensioner design problem on those years? Maybe google a little about it.
If you go the used engine route, have it replaced by all means by a garage who reallly knows these cars, not just a random place who works on 2-3 volvos / year
